A lens as if born for street photography
The 7Artisans M 28mm f/5.6 is an optically outstanding lens with a retro design from the "WEN" series. It is therefore perfect for use in street and/or people photography.
Starting aperture "ONLY" f/5.6 - but this is exactly the advantage: The strong depth of field from the outset makes handling in street photography so decisively easier and popular! The photographer does not have to constantly keep an eye on the technology, but concentrates on the impressions that are important to him.
Technically, we're talking about a mere 130g packed into a very appealing metal body that's just 53mm in diameter. This flyweight nevertheless houses an impressive optical design of 6 elements arranged in 4 groups. Among them is a high refractive index element and two low dispersion elements (ED glass) that effectively suppress color differences and keep spherical aberrations at bay.
Depending on the application, it may come in handy that the lens also has a 35.5mm front thread. Another useful tool is a lever that allows you to fix the infinity setting. This distance is often preselected, especially in street photography. With this fixation option, there can be no accidental adjustment when you are "In Action". In the infinity setting, you always get a clear and sharp image.
The aperture and focus adjustment is manual.
