The Konus Konusmotor- 130 astronomical telescope is a telescope designed for intermediate-level users and is an ideal telescope for observing the Moon, planets, and brighter deep-sky objects. The 5" primary mirror and anti-reflective multi-coated optics ensure a sharp and clear image. This German equatorial mount is a step up from the beginner version, with the addition of a right ascension tracking motor that counteracts the Earth's rotation and keeps your objects centered for longer observations. The use of a motor for tracking instead of the more common manual cable not only provides stable and smooth movement but also significantly reduces vibrations. The manual slow-motion declination cable allows for adjustments if needed. To further reduce vibrations, Konus has equipped the telescope with a focusing motor that can achieve such fine focusing that manual focusing often cannot. The telescope is assembled as a complete observation platform and includes an aluminum tripod with adjustable height, a red dot finder for faster alignment and targeting, and two eyepieces. The 10mm eyepiece produces 100x magnification, and the 17mm eyepiece produces 59x magnification. It also includes a filter for safe and detailed observation of the Moon. Two zippered bags are provided for transporting and carrying the telescope and tripod.
