Brightness and precision of the Handevision Ibelux world

The brightest serial lens in the world

With a brightness of T0.9, the HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.9 is currently the brightest lens for system cameras in the world! Thanks to this, it is possible to take optimal photos in almost any lighting conditions - even in the worst lighting conditions, such as in a hall or in closed rooms. Easily create impressive moody candles by candlelight. Problems with exposure at weddings or parties are thus a thing of the past.

Fixed focal length for valuable details

Due to the slightly smaller angle of view compared to the standard focal length, the lens provides the optimal angle of view. The lens corresponds to about 60 mm converted to a full 35 mm format. Thanks to its shallow depth of field and unique bokeh, the lens is particularly suitable for highlighting the desired main subject against a pleasantly blurred background. This makes it easy to create vivid photos with a fickle background. Focusing and exposure adjustment is performed manually with the HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.85 lens. The minimum focus limit of 75 cm makes it easy to use indoors when shooting moody images. The lens is equipped with a 67 mm filter thread, so you can easily screw it on with standard photo filters and accessories.

The integrated sun visor has a practical use, which is immediately available if needed. The lens is for an APS-C size sensor, not a Full Frame.

Multiple lens coating for optimal image results

Sophisticated optical design with 10 multilayer optical elements in 8 groups ensures particularly good imaging performance. Multiple coatings prevent reflections, improve light transmission, deliver brilliant colors and high contrast.

German development - excellent quality

The HandeVision IBELUX 40 mm / 0.9 model was developed in Germany by a 100% specialist in IB / E Optics. As for the mechanics of the lens, great weight is placed on high-quality materials (brass, steel, aluminum), which results in a robust and durable unit. The gears of the optical elements in the lens backdrops have a silky smooth operation and perfect accuracy.

Specially developed for videography

This lens was developed for videography and photography. The aperture can be adjusted continuously from 0.9 to 22, and the focus is also adjusted easily and smoothly. This allows you to smoothly adjust the sharpness for videos. The shutter ring and focus ring are equipped with a ring wheel and are thus optimized for use with focus traction devices (observe focusing systems). Distance scales and apertures are arranged side by side for better readability.

Using the APS-C lens on a camera with a full frame sensor

Lenses that have been developed for cameras with APS-C sensors can be used in part (mainly with an adapter) with cameras with a full-format image sensor. Thanks to the significantly smaller display circle of APS-C lenses, the edges naturally vignet and are displayed in black. The usable area of the image captured by the full frame camera corresponds to the area of the camera with the APS-C sensor. So the images must be cropped during post-processing. Therefore, the use of APS-C lenses on full-format cameras is possible for experienced creative photographers, but is not recommended.
