Wine glasses
Lighting suitable for glasses is usually in the "grip of lights", one lamp on the right and the other on the left with the possibility of adjusting the lamps forwards and backwards and with the possibility of any change in height, according to the required reflections on the glasses. Helios Quadrolight provides elegant and impressive reflections on the glass and emphasizes the pure colors of the drink on a white background.

Pistol
Objects with predominant chrome-plated parts emphasize the scattered light of a well-processed surface. By positioning the lights in a similar arrangement as when shooting glasses, you will achieve positions with pleasant lighting and subtle finishing with soft shadows. In this example, plexiglass is used as a pad under the pistol for mirroring effect, and blue paper is taped to the background to increase the contrast of the elegantly crafted parts of the pistol.

Tin goblet
We will complete the Helios Quadrolight with a front wall with a window for a softer illumination of the figural sculpture of the cup. One of the lights is directed from the front from above, so that the inside of the cup is illuminated, thus preventing unsightly underexposure. As the main light is the side light emphasizing the plasticity of the goblet.

Ceramic figurine
One light from the side and the other from above simulating daylight. The figurine is thus drawn with completely natural shadows. To increase the contrast of the figure and to the simplicity of color, the background is complemented by a colored cardboard of yellow color. The camera is at eye level of the figure.

Mobile phone
Use studio plasticine for the effect of a slightly floating mobile phone. You can quickly and easily remove its remnants from the surface of the phone. Small reflective surfaces made of Kapafix material were used to brighten the shaded contours, another sufficiently reflective white material can be used. Illuminated by a single lamp! The blue surface is achieved by illumination through blue cardboard, which here serves as a reflective plate. Cutlery
One of the most difficult photography problems ever. They often have gold embellishments or reliefs that are not equally reflective throughout their length. In this case, black plexiglass was used to increase the contrast of the silver. In addition to the visible light on the left, the second light is located behind the lighting cube, not visible in the illustration. To better draw the contours, Kapafix reflector plates are used, as in the "Mobile Phone" example, which illuminates the cutlery from the ceiling.

Plate with food
Food and dishes should be delicious to look at. Here again, it is best to illuminate again with a lamp behind the cube as a backlight with reflection in sauces to create the effect of "freshness" of the served food. The side lamp completes the plasticity by creating shadows.

Wine bottles
Lighting similar to photographing glasses in a "grip of lights", one lamp on the right and the other on the left, arranged so that vignettes with gold or silver lettering are evenly lit. Ideal for lighting transparent drinks such as wine, champagne or beer.
