The JJC AET- (II) series auto spacers are suitable for macro photography and allow your lens to focus from a very small distance than its normal minimum focusing distance. Placing the extension tube between the camera body and the lens shortens the focusing distance and creates the effect of enlarging the subject. extension tubes are commonly used for macro photography and sometimes for detailed portraits.
The extension tubes can be used individually or together to achieve the desired focusing result. They are fully automatic, meaning they can transfer communication and electronic functions from lens to camera, including autofocus and autoexposure settings. However, due to the small depth of field, AF systems may not work with focusing at higher extension tube assemblies, as they are not as sensitive, and they are still not used for such a detailed macro.
