Kipon Shift Adapter from Contax/Yashica Lens to MFT Camera

More and more people are using cameras with interchangeable lenses. As a result, standard combinations of cameras and lenses can no longer meet the increasingly demanding requirements of ambitious and professional photographers.

With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can mix and match cameras and lenses to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used with different camera and lens manufacturers. KIPON, on the other hand, has produced over 400 camera adapters. The KIPON Shift C/Y-M4/3 adapter can be used to connect Contax Yashica series lenses to Panasonic and Olympus M4/3 series mirrorless cameras. Please note that when using the adapter, only manual mode can be used when shooting, although the focus setting at infinity is available. This adapter features a 360 ° free rotation in addition to a shift function that can be shifted by up to 10 mm to give the user more compositional control.

The shift function minimizes any distortion that can occur when objects are seen at an angle. For example, buildings can maintain their straight dimensions. When the adapter is in its default rest position, it can be used like any other standard shift adapter.

The knob on the side of the adapter can be turned counterclockwise to shift the lens. To return the knob to its original position, turn the knob in the opposite direction.

All KIPON adapters are CNC machined, this ensures the highest precision and quality. All adapters are made of brass or aluminum alloy.
