Laowa 12mm t/2.9 Zero-D Cine (m) metric scale for Canon RF

The Venus Optics for Canon RF mount Laowa 12 mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine Lens offers a wide, 122 ° viewing angle well suited for outdoor and landscape shots and in close interiors, and is designed for digital cinematography. It is so lightweight and compact that it can be used for handheld shooting, as well as being light enough to be used on gimbals. The 12 mm cine lens has a maximum T2.9 aperture, with 16 elements in 10 groups. Its 7-blade aperture provides a smooth, pleasant bokeh, a shallow field depth with little to no distortion, and a close focus distance of 7. "Focus and aperture rings feature industry-standard 0.8-pitch gear that will accommodate standard cine following focus engines. With the included adapter, the front diameter of 102 mm can be stepped up to 114 mm to suit industry-standard matte boxes to avoid glare and reflection, as well as to incorporate filters. The focus, aperture, and depth of field markings on the side of the lens are in feet to assist focus pullers.
