The Laowa 90 mm F/2.8 2x Ultra-Macro APO is a lens designed primarily for full-frame (FF) mirrorless cameras.

Among its great features are the fascinating 2:1 magnification ability to focus from max magnification of 2:1 to infinity and excellent sharpness. The infinity focusing capability makes the lens useful not only in macro and commercial photography, but also in portrait photography.

It is very compact and lightweight. Its dimensions are significantly smaller than those of other lenses on the market. The optical construction equipped with three apochromatic elements (APO) contributes to the excellent image quality.
The Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra-Macro APO has a 67mm filter thread on the front flange. A removable LH9028 lens hood is included as standard equipment.

2x magnification
Capturing fine detail at high magnification. Magnification range from 0.1x ⁓2x.
Magnification ratio of 2:1 when focusing from a minimum distance of 20.5 cm to infinity.

APO
The lens is equipped with three apochromatic (APO) elements that completely eliminate chromatic aberration throughout the focusing range, both in the sharp and out-of-focus parts of the image. Edge aberrations and shadows in the image are kept to a minimum thanks to the optical design.

Extraordinary sharpness
The optical construction of the lens features 13 elements in 10 groups, including 3 extra-low dispersion (APO) elements, resulting in a crystalline sharp image from edge to edge in both macro and portrait photography.

Internal Focusing (IF Internal Focusing)
Internal Focusing (IF) moves each lens group inside the lens body. Focusing does not change the overall length of the lens and does not rotate the front tube. Internal focusing is fast and accurate. The minimum focusing distance is 20.5 cm. Focusing: min. distance ⁓ ∞.
