This exciting prime lens delivers ultra-wide - angle coverage up to 113 ° viewing angle (100 ° on MFT system). The tiny scale & light weight ideally suits mirrorless cameras and is ideal for gimbal use. The new iteration of the Cine comes with 0.8 mod standard gears on both aperture and focus rings. A regular 55 mm filter thread is designed for fast mounting of the screw-in filters. Two aspheric elements plus three extra-low dispersion elements effectively correct chromatic aberration, achieve near-to-zero distortion and provide excellent corner sharpness. ... Read More
The latest 9 mm Laowa covers a sensor scale of up to Super 35. Despite providing a distortion-free field of view of 113 °, we've managed to compact the scale to its class minimum. The small size and lightweight make it incredibly flexible for various environments. Furthermore, a T2.9 wide aperture is extremely useful for filmmakers to shoot under low light conditions and to monitor field depth.
Covering both Super 35 & Micro Four Thirds sensor
Professional cinema housing
The lens optimized film and video production design. Boost productivity tremendously, and produce a smoother workflow.
Compact & Lightweight
With only 247g in weight, the lens can be easily fit into any setup. Perfect for in-vehicle shots, handheld, on Gimbel and other special settings.
T2.9 fast aperture & extremely short focusing distance
Including a pair of aspheric elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, the 13 elements are effectively managed to the minimum by spherical and chromatic aberrations in 9 groups of optical architecture. The overall bright T2.9 aperture is well suited for low-light working conditions. Focusing as close as 4.7′′ (12 cm) enables filmmakers to more flexibly design and monitor shallow field depth with a broader perspective.
Hassle-free transportation
Each of our Laowa Cine Lenses comes with a genuine Pelican case for trouble-free handling.
