The Manfrotto SYMPLA Adjustable Handles can be adjusted to almost any position — vertical, horizontal, upside-down, and any other position in between. They can be balanced closer together, wider apart and 360 ° rotated to allow comfort and precision. Only lock it in place until you find the correct location — each handle has its own locking dial (and each handle can be placed differently).
The Handles hang by ball joints (hang until locked). The flyout arms they hang from are attached to a SYMPLA Universal Mount. These arms can be angled closer together or wider apart similar to how the Handles do. Two metal spacers come included to be fitted between the Handles and flyout arms to extend the lengths of the Handles.
The Handles also play a part in the installation of remote controls in SYMPLA systems. SYMPLA provides two distinct remote control units for DSLR focus change. One way these remotes can be placed is by way of the Handles. They connect in conjunction with the same spacers described above, to the top sections of the Handles.
Another feature to note: The handles will act as double pan bars when used with a SYMPLA rig that is connected to a camera head.
