Powerful external flash with integrated radio receiver. ... Read More
The NAS is a Nissin 2.4 GHz wireless radio system for controlling external flashes. Compared to a traditional optical system, the radio system is less prone to the beam angle and obstacles between the controller and the slave flash.
The range is 30 m. To prevent interference and incorrect firing by other users or devices operating on the same frequency
8 working channels are available. The Nissin Air 1 control unit can control 3 groups of flashes (A, B, C).
Simple control
Stylish design and greater comfort for users
The Nissin Di700A flash offers a stylish look; color LCD control panel and special rotary selector. Even a beginner can control the flash quickly. All settings can be easily made with one finger.
Coverage of focal lengths 24 - 200 mm
The flash zoom with auto zoom has an extended range than previous models. Covers focal lengths of 24 ~ 200 mm. The maximum flash guide number with a focal length setting of 200 mm (ISO 100) is 54. Compared to flashes of the same category from other manufacturers, the Nissin Di700A offers different lighting modes.
Flash head design for professional use
Based on user requirements, the Nissin Di700A is equipped with a locking button for rotating the flash head. The flash head can be rotated 180 ° horizontally to the right and left in the horizontal direction, tilted upwards by an angle of up to 90 ° and downwards by an angle of 7 ° (for macro photography). Thanks to this equipment, the flash expands the possibilities when working with indirect flash and offers more options for different lighting angles.
Various functions
Support for HSS synchronization with fast shutter speeds
Supports shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s (* 4). The shortest sync time depends on the camera model.
(* 4) Function not available for Fujifilm version.
TTL flash mode
Support for TTL flash systems
Canon E-TTL / E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL, Sony / Panasonic P-TTL, 4/3 TTL, Fujifilm TTL.
The external service port meets professional requirements
The Nissin Di700A flash is the only flash in this category to be equipped with a connector for an external power source. In combination with an external power source, the Nissin Power Pack PS 8 offers significantly shorter flash charging times and increases the number of flashes available. There is also an X (PC) connector for connecting the flash with a standard sync cable and a 3.5 mm sync jack connector for connecting to a studio flash system.
Design for quick battery replacement
The new flash uses a quick-change battery concept similar to the Nissin Di866 Mark II. The battery compartment perfectly complements the stylish look of the Nissin Di700A.
The battery pack for Di700A (BM-02) is not compatible with the BM-01 tank.
Optical wireless TTL Slave mode
Support for groups A - C (all channels without resolution).
In this setting, the Di700A is synchronized in REMOTE mode with the MASTER flash. All communication channels and A / B / C groups can be used for this mode. In this lubrication, the flash does not distinguish between working channels.
The various Slave modes offer versatile combinations of wireless flash systems.
1) SD Slave Digital - optical: for systems with metering pre-flashes. The Master flash is set to TTL (E-TTL for Canon cameras, i-TTL for Nikon cameras, and ADI / P-TTL for Sony cameras).
2) SF Slave Film - Optical: for traditional single-flash analog flash systems. The master flash is set to manual mode. This mode also supports studio flashes. The mode is also available for progressive flash illumination with the shutter open and for standard flashes on the market.
3) Wireless TTL mode - optical (* 4) and radio.
(* 4) Function not available for Fujifilm version.
TTL Slave wireless radio mode
Support for groups A - C. 8 selectable channels using the Air 1 control unit.
In this setting, the Di700A is synchronized in REMOTE wireless radio mode with the Air 1 controller. For this mode, all communication channels can be selected using the Air 1 controller and groups A, B, C. Groups A, B, C can be set individually or synchronously. All three groups of mohop work in different settings at the same time.
As soon as the Di700A detects a link for pairing with the NAS Air Control 1, it automatically sets the radio communication mode. Otherwise, the Di700A is automatically set to optical mode (pre-flash control).

Other features
Port for external services
The Nissin Di700A flash supports the Power Pack and Nissin Power Pack PS 8 / PS300.
The Nissin Di700A is equipped with a flash synchronization input
The Nissin Di700A is equipped with a standard 3.5 mm jack connector and an X (PC) connector for flash synchronization.
Flash sync with slow and fast shutter speeds
When the flash is synchronized to the last shutter blade, the flash fires just before the shutter closes. Using this function at a slow shutter speed will cause visible marks on the subject in in motion.
The high HSS shutter speed (* 4) is recommended for shooting in daylight.
(* 4) Function not available for Fujifilm version.
Firmware Update
Concerned that your flash will no longer be compatible with the launch of new camera models? A firmware update service is available for Nissin Speedlights. The update cannot be performed by the user. There is a charge for this service.
