The Samyang MF 14mm f / 2.8 MK2 is a fully manual super wide-angle lens for cameras with a Fullframe sensor, but it can also be used on cameras with smaller sensor formats such as APS-C or Micro Four Thirds.
The Samyang lens with a 14mm focus is popular with travelers, nature and architecture photographers, as well as astrophotographers.

The optical system has 14 elements in 10 groups and also includes 3 lenses with high refraction, 1 hybrid aspherical lens, 1 aspherical lens and 2 lenses with low distortion. Not only does this result in the excellent optical properties of the Samyang 14mm Mk II lens.

Description of new lens functions:

• Focus lock - the focus can be locked in any position, a great aid when shooting video or shooting stars.
• Declick aperture function - deactivation of the aperture latch, the aperture can then be changed continuously (not in steps). Again a great feature for shooting videos.
• 9-blade aperture - perfect bokeh is a must for portrait glass, thanks to 9 apertures, the background is pleasantly blurred.
• Moisture and dust seal - the sealing ring on the bayonet and other parts of the lens are protected against moisture and dust, making the lens even more versatile and can be used even in bad weather.
• New design - the lens looks very durable and robust at first glance. Sturdy construction, thoughtful and well-adapted controls are an important feature for precise and easy lens control.
