Special equipment 

This model features a system that can render colors on a much larger scale than any other model. It is the only one that uses the SSI (Spectral Similarity Index) index, which gives the user the option to set any light or use preset values ​​(such as CIE D55) and then set another SSI value for another light based on similarity.

In addition, the C-800 is also equipped with a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI), a Color Rendering Index (CRI), a TM-30-15 (Technical Memorandum) and a Television Lighting Matching Factor (TLMF).

Exceptionally accurate measurement 

The C-800 builds on some of the features of its predecessor, the C-700. It has a 4.3-inch touch screen, the ability to capture LEDs, HMIs, fluorescents, light bulbs, natural light and flash from 1,600 to 40,000 kelvins. The Sekonic Spectromaster C-800 boasts a CMOS (linear image sensor) sensor and measurement accuracy of 1 nanometer.

CIE1931 (x, y) has been implemented in the C-800 model, which gives the user the possibility to measure specific colors. The saturation and hue units have been set so that the RGB LED is more equal to any light source.

The new display offers easy operation and makes this model the best in its class.
