Sony E-mount 100-400mm f / 5-6.3 DG DN OS, impressive zoom range in a relatively compact body. The versatile universal telephoto zoom lens is a combination of the classic Sigma design and the excellent optical performance of the Contemporary series. A range of low-scatter optical elements contribute to high brightness and color accuracy throughout the zoom range and to suppress chromatic aberration. Excellent optics are complemented by intuitive and precise controls, such as a stepper motor that provides fast, accurate and almost inaudible autofocus performance with fine-tuning via manual focus. Effective OS optical image stabilization helps reduce camera shake, offering sharp images even when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds than usual. An optional TS-111 tripod mount can be purchased with the lens to increase stability when shooting from a tripod or monopod. The Sony E-mount 100-400mm f / 5-6.3 DG DN OS is part of the Contemporary range of the Sigma Global Vision range, so this lens is designed to strike a balance between comfort, practical use and optical performance, while maintaining compact dimensions in a relatively light design. The telephoto lens is designed for Sony E-mount mirror cameras with a full frame sensor, but it can also be used on cameras with an APS-C sensor, where it provides a focal length range equivalent to 150-600 mm when recalculated.
