The ALTA GH-300 is a ball head with high precision, smooth control, and excellent ergonomic design. The Alta GH-300 allows you to position your camera or spotting scope quickly and with unparalleled versatility. This beautifully designed ball head has a unique Grip Position Release System and a pistol grip-style handle that rotates 360°, allowing you to easily release, reposition, and secure the camera. It can be operated with one hand for maximum comfort, freeing up the other hand to adjust the zoom on the lens. Squeezing the handle allows for 360° movement and -32 to +90° tilt from side to side and -8 to +90° tilt back and forth. You can instantly lock it in place with a simple release on the handle. Other impressive features of this product include the Friction Control System, which allows you to modify the friction level on the ball head, which is important when changing the weight of your equipment, such as when switching to a heavier lens. The anodized ball head allows for smooth fluid movement without sacrificing precise control.
