V-mount is a power supply system used primarily in the film industry. The V-mount is named after the way the battery bayonet shape is mounted. The V-mount is used to power cameras, monitors, lights and all the accessories that every cameraman uses. In this category you will find a separate subcategory of V-mount batteries, V-mount chargers, V-mount hubs and V-mount plates. Similar systems you may come across are referred to as B-mount or Gold Mount of which V-mount is one of the most widely used.
