The digital polar microscope with a 0.3MPix camera allows you to study samples of any degree of transparency. Battery operated LED combination illumination, achromatic optics, magnification 40 - 400 x, monocular head tilts 30°. ... Read More
DiscoveryNano Digital Biological Microscope in Polar uses a 0.3 MPix digital camera. You can use it both for classical visual observations and for creating digital research archives. It will become a perfect helper for studying biology at home and at school. The kit contains everything you need, including accessories and a colour educational publication "The Invisible World".
With 40 - 400x magnification it is possible to observe finished specimens from the kits, tiny aquatic organisms or your own specimens. The camera can display the image on external screen, take photos and record videos of the research. This entry-levelmicroscope uses standard batteries for both bottom and top LED illumination, allowing you to see slides of any transparency.
0.3MPix digital camera
Install this in place of the eyepiece, connect to your computer with the USB cable (included) and install the software (CD included). Note: check the system requirements listed in the specifications.
The camera is powered by a USB cable that extends the capabilities of the microscope (easy image processing, adjusting brightness, image size, etc.). The maximum image resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and video can be recorded at a high frame rate 30 frames per second.
Optical system
Includes achromatic lenses and a wide-angle eyepiece. All lenses made of optical glass provide sharp contrast images, and the 40x magnification lens uses a protective spring frame.
The monocular head , tilted at a 30° angle, facilitates longer viewing, which will be especially appreciated inexperienced users. The microscope allows observation of small objects throughout the entire magnification range.
Battery-operated LED illumination
Place the slides on the stageusing two clamps. Below and above the microscope there is a combined LED illumination. This is recommended by the manufacturer for use especially when insufficient ambient light.
Thanks to the battery power supply, you can also use the instrument without mains power. The microscope stage is equipped with a disc-shaped screen with six holes for light flux control.
Educational publications on the microworld
This colour publication tells young scientists about the history of microscopy, microorganisms and the different structures that can be observed under a microscope. The book not only describes interesting facts, but also experiments for your inspiration.
