Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD Digital Microscope

The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD microscope is designed for studying opaque objects. It is suitable for working with jewelry, plates with electronics, minerals, coins and metal cuts. This microscope is also suitable for for use at home, for example for studying insects and plants. Levenhuk microscope DTX 700 LCD is equipped with an LCD display that reduces strain on the eyes for longer observation for longer periods of time, as viewing the display is more comfortable than looking into the eyepiece of a standard microscope.

The image is captured by a 5 MPx camera. The camera provides a magnification of 10-300x, and with further zooming in, it is possible to observe objects at magnifications up to 1200x. A colourful and detailed image is is transferred to the built-in LCD screen. Integrated camera allows you to take pictures and videos. Control buttons are located directly below the display. These buttons can be used to control the quality of photos and videos, switch the time-lapse mode on or off, select the circular video mode and set the date and time.

This microscope is self-contained and does not require connection to external equipment. To store photos and videos, you must use the memory card (sold separately). The microscope can be connected to to an external monitor, to a television or to a computer. The kit contains all necessary cables and software.

Note: the software installed on the computer allows you to take measurements objects (length, diameter, radius, angle). The software also allows you to include in the images images and text to the images captured by the microscope.

The illumination system of the microscope contains 8 bright LEDs with adjustable brightness. The microscope includes a built-in polarizing filter that reduces parasitic glare when studying shiny metals.

The microscope is powered by a mains power supply and an integrated battery allowing up to three hours of continuous work with the microscope.

Recommendations on the use of the software

For the PortableCapture Plus software (and its other versions) to work properly, only run the installed application after you have connected the microscope to a PC and prepare the microscope for observation.

The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD Digital Microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.

Warning!

Keep in mind that the mains voltage in most European countries is 220-240 V, while in the USA and Canada it is 110 V. The correct mains voltage can be found in the technical data sheet. Never attempt to use a power supply without using an inverter connect equipment rated for 220 V to an outlet providing the voltage 110 V and vice versa.
