Baveyes Adapter from from Leica R Lens to MFT Camera (0.7x)

More and more people are using cameras with interchangeable lenses. As a result, standard combinations of cameras and lenses can no longer meet the increasingly demanding requirements of ambitious and professional photographers.

With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can mix and match cameras and lenses to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used with different camera and lens manufacturers. KIPON, on the other hand, has produced over 400 camera adapters. With the various adapters, KIPON offers its customers the freedom to combine cameras and lenses individually.

The KIPON BAVEYES L/R-M4/3 0.7x adapter can be used to connect Leica R series lenses to Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. Please note that when using the adapter, only manual mode can be used when shooting, although the focus setting is available at infinity. This adapter, developed by the German optics research institution IB/E OPTICS, can mount full-frame lenses on cameras with APS-C. There are four multi-coated lenses in the adapter.

When the full focal length lens is mounted on the body of the APS-C camera, the crop factor is negated with the optical focal point reduction adapter, and you can get a full field of view through the lens. This solves the problem of edge cracking in photos caused by an adapter without optical glass, and allows for sharper images. The image also becomes much brighter due to an increased concentration of light. This increase is more noticeable when the aperture value is less than 2.

All KIPON adapters are CNC machined, this ensures the highest precision and quality. All adapters are made of brass or aluminum alloy.

Please note that not all camera models and lenses are compatible with this adapter. Please be especially careful when trying to use an adapter with wide angle and fisheye lenses. If you have any questions about compatibility, please contact your dealer.
