Another level of holder for 100mm filters

With this magnetic filter holder, gradient / transition filters can be positioned quickly and accurately using the rotary knob.

This filter holder has space for 3 rectangular filters (100 mm wide and 2 mm thick) and a special position for the polarizing filter.
The polarizing filter can be operated from the side and rear, while the other filters are located in front of it. We recommend using 82mm MAMCPL82 or 95mm MAMCPL95 polarizing filters from Benro. It is NOT possible to screw in a standard threaded filter.

Magnetic ring for circular polarizing filter

16 strong magnets are placed in the rotating ring of the holder, which hold the Benro polarizing filter (MAMCPL82 or MAMCPL95) firmly in place. Thanks to the magnets and recesses in the holder, the polarizing filter is now very easy to install or remove.
The ring with magnets can be rotated in two places: a rubber strap on the left side or its own ring on the back of the holder.

Note: For some lenses with a special design, a polarizing filter with a diameter of 82 mm in the holder may cause slight vignetting in an extremely wide angle position.
We recommend 95 mm polarizing filters (MAMCPL95) for these lenses. We have found that these are lenses:

• Sony 16-35 f / 2.8 GM
• Tamron 24-70 f / 2.8 G2

Reduction rings for lenses

With the FH100M3 holder, 77 mm and 82 mm lens rings are supplied as standard. The holder is therefore ready for use with lenses with a filter diameter of 77 or 82 mm. Specific lens rings (FH100M2LR67 or FH100M2LR72) are available for using the filter holder on 67 or 72 mm filter lenses. For all other screw thread sizes on the lens, Benro has different Step Down rings.

Filter frames

Two filter frames are supplied with the FH100M3 filter holder: one for 100x100mm and one for 100x150mm. Of course, these filter frames are also available separately. If you equip each filter with its own frame, it is not necessary to change it. This allows you to work faster and the filters need to be touched even less (fingerprints) and the filters are thus mechanically protected.

Benro FH100M3 is suitable for the following rectangular filters:

100 mm x 150 mm x 2 mm (glass or resin) - filter frames FR1015
100 mm x 100 mm x 2 mm (glass or resin) - FR1010 filter frames
The filter frames for gradient / transition filters (FR1015) have toothing, so this filter can be positioned quickly and accurately using the red rotary knob. The rotary knob has four different positions (neutral, A, B, C), with which it is possible to move each gradient filter separately.
The position of the rotary knob is automatically locked. Press the button on the side to select another filter lock

Extremely wide angle

Because the guides of the Benro FH100M3 square filter holder are more outward, it is possible to shoot at an extremely wide angle without vignetting. The holder has been successfully tested on 15mm full format and even with 9mm on APS-C. The maximum width of the angle without vignetting depends on the lens design.

Quick removal

The holder is attached or released with a blue rotary knob. After releasing the blue knob, the holder can be removed very quickly by pulling the red spring latch.
Mounting is very easy: The holder automatically clicks onto the lens ring when attached. This system is therefore faster than most other brackets and also much safer than a spring-loaded design on the side.
