Benro HD2A 3-way head

The new three-way heads of the HD series are an ideal choice for architecture photographers, landscape photographers and other photographers who will appreciate the possibility of adjusting the head independently in each of its three directions.
The halves are made of magnesium, and due to their robustness they retain low weight and excellent load-bearing capacity.

The Benro HD three-way heads have been innovated and, compared to their predecessor, are now compatible with the Arca-Swiss system, making them even more versatile and versatile. The P&T safety system ensures safe locking of the quick-release plate in the base of the head, which together with the Allen stops on the underside of the plate prevents unintentional slipping. The plate in the allowed state allows safe anteroposterior movement in the base of the head from its central position about 1 cm forward and backward. This shift can be beneficial when fine-tuning the focus plane without having to move the entire tripod assembly. If you want to release the plate completely and remove it, you need to pull the P&T knob slightly and turn it counterclockwise to fully open the jaws of the base.
The base of the head at the quick-release plate is equipped with 3 integrated spirit levels, so setting the exact plane in all three directions is very easy and fast.

The Arca Swiss aluminum plate is blue anodized, on the upper side it has rubber surfaces that prevent unwanted rotation of the camera. The screw for attaching the device is equipped with a D-eye, Allen key and notch, so you can tighten the plate by hand, Allen key or screwdriver or a coin.

On the sides of the head and in the middle of it, there are stamped scales with angles, which you will use especially for panoramic photography. The head works in a lateral tilt of + 15 ° to - 90 °, the front and rear tilt of the head is -35 to + 90 °, of course there is a full rotation around its axis in 360 °.

Longer head control levers for side and front-rear tilt are rubberized and have a very pleasant operation, as well as horizontal locking with a ring-rubberized control.

The head is mounted on a tripod with a 3/8 "screw, so it can be mounted on any tripod, holder, slider with this standardized screw.
