Classic Atto monocular microscope by Discovery in colour Polar allows you to explore the microbial world with 40x magnification - 1000x. You can even perform experiments using the immersion method by immersing the slide in an oil bath.
Thanks to the combined LED illumination with standard batteries you will see the slides regardless of the transparency level. The kit contains everything you need, including accessories (filter, extrusion bottle with immersion oil) and a colorful educational "Invisible World" publication .
Optical system
Includes achromatic objective lenses and a 10x wide-angle eyepiece with threaded crosshairs. All lenses made of optical glass provide a sharp contrast image. The instrument'sswivel head has four objectives of 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x with suspension for additional protection.
The monocular head tilted at an ergonomic 45° angle facilitates longer viewing, which is especially appreciated inexperienced users. In addition, you can rotate it 360° above the horizontal plane, making it ideal for group experiments. The microscope is supplied with both coarse and fine focusing.
Combination LED illumination
The illumination system consists of two LED lights with variable intensity. The upper illumination is above the stage and the lower illumination is below the slide. Both LED systems can be powered from batteries (included in the kit) or from the mains via an AC adapter.
The microscope stage is complemented by a mechanical scale for optimal use of micropreparation techniques. The microscope is supplied with Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder (blue filter included).
