as shown.

✓ Make sure the battery is inserted in the correct orientation.
✓ Do not open the battery cover when the product is wet or your hands are wet. When closing the cover, make sure that no fibers or other foreign objects are caught in the hole.

Attaching the collimator (Figure 3)

Insert the Dot sight into the hot shoe on the camera as shown.

✓ Some camera or lens designs may make it impossible to attach or remove the dot sight.
✓ Do not use the built-in flash, as it will push the collimator when extended.

Switching the dot sight on and off

Slide the dot sight tilt control and tilt the dot sight to the working position; the dot sight turns on and the aiming outline illuminates (Figure 4). To turn off the dot sight, gently push the top of the dot sight down until it clicks into the locked position (Figure 5).

  • If the dot sight is tilted to the working position, the aiming line can be switched off by pressing the aiming line brightness adjustment button or the color selection button and holding it down for more than 2 seconds (the aiming line is also switched off if not performed for 4 hours no actions). Press one of the buttons to turn on the outline again.

Setting the position of the intentional outline

The position of the outline must be adapted to the distance of the object. To prevent camera shake during this operation, mount it on a tripod or place it on a flat, stable surface.

Setting the position of the intentional outline:

Aim the subject at the desired distance (Figure 6).

Select a subject at the same distance from the camera as your subject, and aim it so that it is in the center of the monitor or viewfinder. If you are using a zoom lens, we recommend setting it to the focal length at which it will be used when shooting. Keep in mind that you may not be able to place the intentional outline satisfactorily if the object is too close; we recommend selecting objects at a distance of at least 10 m (all data are approximate).

Place the outline on the object (Figure 7).

From the position directly behind the dot sight, rotate the target sight adjustment dials to place the target outline on the object in the dot sight optics. If the outline is difficult to see against the background, adjust its color or brightness as needed.

Photography (picture 8)

Aim the camera so that the focus is on the subject. The subject also appears on the camera monitor or in the viewfinder.

Precautions for use

  • To store or transport the dot sight, lower it to the transport position.
  • Some camera or lens designs may block the dot sight.
  • Some parts of the aiming outline may not appear in the upper left and upper right corners of the optics.
  • The intentional outline may appear duplicate; this can sometimes be corrected by selecting a more distant object.
  • Do not touch the optics with your fingers. Fibers and dust can be removed with a blower, fingerprints, grease and other deposits can be wiped off with a soft, clean cotton cloth or lens
  • cleaning cloth moistened with a small amount of alcohol or a commercially available lens cleaner. Clean the entire surface of the optics evenly and be careful not to leave smudges.
