Nikon MB-D12 Multi Power Battery Pack

The MB-D12 Multi Power Battery Pack increases the camera's top frame rate to 6 fps and extends the camera's independent battery operation.

The Battery Pack features an ergonomic design that makes it easier to hold the camera when shooting vertically and is powered by eight standard AA batteries or the original Nikon EN-EL15 battery or equivalent EN-EL15 or the more powerful Nikon EN-EL18 battery or EN-EL18 equivalent with battery chamber cover Nikon BL-5. The Grip offers an alternate shutter release button, multi selector, autofocus activation button, and main and sub command dials while holding the camera vertically.

The battery grip is supplied without batteries and a Nikon BL-5 baterry chamber cover.
