What is NAS (Nissin Air System)
The NAS is a new Nissin wireless radio system operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz for controlling external flashes. Compared to a traditional optical system, the radio system is less prone to the beam angle and obstacles between the controller and the slave flash. Range: 30 m. 3 working channels are available to prevent interference and incorrect firing by other users or devices operating on the same frequency. Each of the three channels has the option of selecting from 8 IDs (5 byte digital ID). The Nissin Commander Air 1 control unit can control 3 groups of flash units (A, B, C) Di700A. * NAS (Nissin Air System) is for Nissin Di700A Speedlight and Nissin Air 1 Transmitter. NAS cannot be used with other types of flashes, only with NAS Ready Speedlights.
Stylish design, user comfort
The Air R receiver is equipped with rotary selectors. All settings can be easily made with one finger
Pairing with lightning
When pairing the Air R receiver, the Air 1 control unit assigns each receiver a digital (5 byte) ID address and book information. Thus, more than one group of receivers can operate simultaneously on one channel without interfering with each other. There are 8 process channels and three groups A, B, C. Max. the number of receivers connected to one Air 1 control unit is practically unlimited.
The Air R receiver is automatically set to the channel of the control unit during pairing. In case of possible interference with other systems operating on the same frequency, manual selection of the working channel is available (1-8).
Stand and mounting
Integrated folding stand.
Cold shoe - contactless flash socket
Tripod thread 1/4
X connector
The Air R receiver is equipped with an input for a synchronization X (PC) connector.
Compatibility
The Air R receiver is compatible with Nissin Speedlights and genuine Canon Speedlights.
