Small size - high performance
The Nissin i600 pocket-sized flash weighs only 300 g (* 1). It is suitable for brightening shadows even on the brightest sunny days, for family photography, indoor and outdoor photography, and especially for travel. Professional features are available: Wireless TTL mode, shutter speed support up to 1/8,000 s, easy operation with two rotary dials, tilt and swivel flash head for more versatile indirect flash lighting and the use of multiple lighting angles. KEY PROPERTIES
Rotary dials - simple control panel - The Nissin i600 offers two rotary dials: the flash function dial and the flash output dial. 3 LEDs show the current settings. Even beginners can start working with the flash quickly.
Professional flash head design - The flash head can be rotated horizontally at an angle of 180 ° to the left and right and tilted upwards at an angle 90 °, which is suitable for macro photography. There are thus more possible flash lighting angles.
Zoom - The Nissin i600 flash supports automatic motorized zoom in the focal length range of 24-200 mm. The default zoom head setting in atomic mode is 35 mm. Manual zoom is available in M, SD, SF, Wireless flash modes. The selected manual setting is memorized and remains unchanged when the flash is turned on.
HSS - short-time flash sync support - The flash supports shutter speeds up to 1 / 8,000 s (* 2). (* 2): The shortest sync time depends on the camera model.
Additional functions and equipment
Four AA batteries - The i40 is powered by four AA batteries.
Metal socket - locking button - The durable design of the metal socket with the locking button ensures easy installation of the flash and reduces the risk of damage to the flash during installation.
Reflective card and wide-angle scatter - Softbox included, Softbox softens flash light and suppresses shadows, is suitable for flash brightening at short distances. AF-assist illuminator - i600 is equipped with AF-assist illuminator *
* Fujifilm mirrorless cameras do not support the AF-assist illuminator function on an external flash. In low light conditions, they use the built-in AF-assist illuminator on the camera body (if they have one). This also applies to original Fujifilm flashes.
Slave mode
The i600 supports the TTL wireless flash system operation mode as a SLAVE unit. It allows you to use creative flash photography with multiple flash units from different directions. There are 3 SLAVE modes.
SD-Slave Digital: for metering pre-flash systems. The Master control flash is set to TTL (E-TTL for Canon cameras, i-TTL for Nikon cameras, and ADI / P-TTL for Sony cameras).
SF - Slave Film: for traditional single-flash analog flash systems. The master flash is set to manual mode. This mode also supports studio flashes. The mode is also available for progressive flash illumination with the shutter open and for standard flashes on the market.
Wireless TTL mode
The i600 offers Wireless Remote mode (* 3). (* 3): Applies to Slave (Remote) wireless mode only. Support for groups A – C (any channel 1–4 without resolution).
Flash exposure compensation
In TTL mode: The flash output can be adjusted using flash exposure compensation in TTL and M modes. The camera's exposure compensation function affects the overall exposure of the image field. Flash exposure compensation can adjust the exposure only for the main subject, with minimal impact on the exposure of the background scene. Flash output in TTL mode: −2 to +2 EV, in 0.5 EV increments. Flash output in M mode: 1/256 - 1/1, in steps of 1/256 - 1/128 - 1/64 - 1/32 - 1/16 - 1/8 - 1/4 - 1/2 - 1 / 1
