Full vertical and horizontal operation

Thanks to the construction of the VG-C3EM grip, it is almost as easy to operate the camera in a vertical and horizontal position thanks to the controls, which are almost the same as the buttons on the back of the camera body. For example, the vertical grip has a multi-selector for a quick selection of the AF point.

Same grip as body α9 for a firm hold

The VG-C3EM vertical grip provides the same grip as the α9 body, allowing you to achieve the same secure grip in a vertical position that is virtually the same as in a horizontal position.

Almost 2 times longer endurance

The vertical handle VG-C3EM can hold two NP-FZ100 batteries. You can check the remaining percentage of the battery used (minimum value 1%) via the camera's LCD monitor. When one battery is discharged, the other battery is automatically activated and continues to operate.

Thorough attention to dust and humidity

Thanks to the seal, the grip is resistant to dust and moisture. The sealing elements have all the controls, connectors, and electrical contacts for use in demanding photographic conditions.

USB charging via a camera body

Charge the batteries in the vertical grip using the camera's USB port without disconnecting the grip from the camera body.

Highly rigid magnesium body

The magnesium alloy body, like the α9, makes this handle very stiff and light.
