DiscoveryPico monocular biological microscope in colour Gravity will become a perfect helper for studying biology at home and at university. The robust microscope is easy to use, renders sharp detailed images and comes with an educational publication "The Invisible World".

Pico

With a magnification of 40 - 400x , it is possible to observe finished slides from the kits, tiny aquatic organisms or your own specimens. This entry-levelmicroscope uses standard batteries for both lower and upper LED illumination, so you can see slides of any translucency.

Optical system

Includes 4x, 10x and 40x magnification achromatic objectives and a 10x wide-angle eyepiece. All lenses made of optical glass provide a sharp contrast image and The 40x magnification lens uses a protective spring frame.

The binocular head , tilted at a 30° angle, facilitates longer viewing, which will be especially appreciated inexperienced users. The head can be rotated horizontally through 360°. The microscope allows observation of small objects throughout the entire magnification range.

Adjustable brightness of the LED illumination

The slides are mounted on the stage using two clamps. Under the stage there is a disc aperture hood to control the luminous flux from the lower LED illumination. This is recommended by the manufacturer to be used especially when insufficient ambient light.

The combined LED illumination allows samples of any degree of transparencyto be studied , opaque, partially transparent and transparent. You can use an AC adapter or standard batteries (not included) to power the backlight. The metal microscope uses coarse and fine focusing. This makes it faster and more convenient to adjust the sharpness of your slides.

Educational publications on the microworld

This colour publication tells young scientists about the history of microscopy, microorganisms and the different structures you can observe under a microscope. The book not only describes interesting facts, but also experiments for your inspiration.
